Read Book of Revelation of Jesus Christ and be blessed

The Book of Revelation of Jesus Christ is the only book among all 66 books of the Bible where we are specifically told we will be blessed if we read it.

Why is this?

Because this book summarises everything of God, from before time began, to His plan of salvation for humanity, to where we are today, future events, prophecy, the 1,000-year millennium, and the eternal new heaven and new earth.

“Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.”
Revelation 1:3

Jesus speaks directly to His believers, encouraging us to stay close to Him, doing the will of the Father, while waiting for and expecting the return of Jesus Christ.

This book points to all the other books of the Bible, especially the Old Testament, where we can see Jesus on almost every page of Scripture. As believers, we are filled with the Holy Spirit, our eyes and ears are opened to the understanding the Scriptures that is carefully designed and woven into and from the Book of Revelation.

We are immediately blessed by God when we read this book, in every way. It’s like opening an endless mystery book of living reality, and we become eager to search for more truth in God’s eternal plan. We see ourselves in this book with our Saviour, we are part of the Scriptures.

“The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
Revelation 19:10

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Revelation 2:7 (and repeated throughout chapters 2-3)

Reading Revelation isn’t just about the end it’s about the fullness of Christ, the victory of God, and our hope as His people. Let us continue to read, listen, and be watchful, for He is coming soon (Revelation 22:12).

Salvation is simply believing that:

Jesus is the only way to God

In 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

Paul explicitly defines the gospel he delivered:

  1. Jesus washed away our sins with His blood.
  2. Christ died for our sins.
  3. He was buried.
  4. He rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures

Jesus said 'It is finished' Jesus did everthing for us to be saved immediately

  • Turn to the Father as the prodical son did, to God the Father, tell our Father
  • 'I belive what Jesus did for me, I accept Jesus did everthing I need to be saved immediately. Jesus you are Lord.'
  • The Holy Spirit will immediately come dwell in you
  • Then stay in the Father's house as the prodical son did, allowing the Holy Spirit grown in you.
  • Worship the Father in spirit and truth
  • Pray at all times
  • Ask the Holy Spirit the Helper to help you understand the word and pray for you at all times
